Bay Area Business Challenge

The Bay Area Business Challenge facilitated in partnership by SBDC and Bay Area Black Market is to assist minority owned, women owned, disabled and veteran owned businesses in the underserved and socially disadvantaged communities.

CHALLANGE #1

Our first Bay Area Business Challenge is finding 1000 Small Businesses in the Bay Area who need assistance. Do you need capital to help you get started? Do you need help expanding? Need capital for inventory? Perhaps you need help with your business structure? Or maybe you needs investors? Join the Bay Area Business Challenge!

Whatever the need, this is the opportunity to get help into the hands of Bay Area Small Businesses who need it most. There are 30.7 million small businesses in the U.S. which account for 99.9 percent of all U.S. businesses (SBA, 2019).

Small Businesses create 1.5 million jobs annually and account for 64 percent of new jobs created in the U.S. mall businesses added 1.9 million net new jobs during the latest year studied. These businesses employ 47.5 percent of our private workforce. Clearly, small business matters.

Spread the word with your friends and family. Help your community flourish by sharing the link with as many small businesses as you can.
