BeyGOOD Housing Support Grant
Beyonce BeyGOOD and NAACP created a plan to make a difference with the BeyGood housing Support Grant. BeyGood is assisting organizations across the country that provide people with basic needs like food, water, household supplies and COVID testing. Mental health support is also provided as part of the initiative.
Beyoncé is continuing her heart of support and helping where needed most with the creation of the NAACP & BeyGOOD Housing Support Grant. Phase Two of the BeyGOOD Impact Fund will help those impacted by the housing crisis. The housing moratorium was set to end on December 26th, resulting in mortgage foreclosures and rental evictions. Many families were impacted, due to the pandemic that resulted in job loss, business closures, sickness and overall economy downturn.
The Beyonce BeyGOOD Small Business Impact fund has provided over 250 small businesses around the country with $10k grants to help with payroll, rents, and loss of revenue.
This holiday season, while many were stressed with what they would do next regarding their housing, Beyoncé gave $5k grants to individuals and families facing foreclosures or evictions.
To apply, all necessary documentation must be provided online to the NAACP. The online application process opened January 7, 2021. One hundred recipients will be selected to receive grants of $5K with grants disbursed in late January. Round 2 of the program will open in February. There’s still time to apply for ROUND 1.
THIS APPLICATION PROCESS WILL CLOSE ON FRIDAY JANUARY 15, 2021 AT 11:59PM EST.
